By altering the number of layers of material that we add into the mould, we are are able to tune the final performance of the TRAMPA decks relevant to the riders weight height & ability. TRAMPA's FLEXOMETER information is to be interpreted as a 'GUIDE ONLY' as there is no fixed rule as to which is the exact right deck for you. The weight, height & ability of the rider will all help determine which is the right sort of deck for you, but of course the most important factor is personal preference as to how the rider wants their deck to feel.... Some riders like it flexi, some like it firm, some like it very very stiff.... Amazingly the Hanger is reversible... The Axle is positioned offset in the hanger, NOT Centrally located... This means when we assemble the Truck, depending on what we are assembling it for (The Carve Truck will assemble to fit to either Street or Urban Carve Decks) will depend on which way around we assemble the hanger.. The hanger faces forwards (Same as mountainboard) for the URBAN Carve Deck assembly making the overall wheel base longer & the ride height as low as possible to accept the larger sized wheels that lift the deck height back up & by increasing the wheel base gives the extra space to fit the larger wheels at the ends. Setting up the deck for the Street Carve we turn the hanger 180º so it faces inwards (Axles to the inside) shortening the wheel base, raising the ride height to a more acceptable position to be able to accommodate the smaller sized 83 & 90mm Longboard wheels.
The Carve Truck has 'Dual Spring Positions'. Having Dual Spring positions means the rider has even more tune-ability than what they can shake a stick at! The rider can adjust & custom tune their steering range to just about any setting for any kind of terrain or ride type they can imagine.... It is possible to 'move the springs into the inside position', making the steering easy to turn & super loose, making the performance perfect for incredibly sexy CARVY TURNS.... Alternatively if your not in that mood or Carvy turns is not your thing try moving the springs 'into the outside position' & then 'Adding TRAMPA DAMPA's into the springs' before inserting into the truck, thus making the steering as STIFF as you could ever imagine, setting you up perfectly for the fastest of high speed runs when & where ever possible....!
The INFINITY CARVE TRUCK has not been CNC'd for light weight, it is therefore full fat & of course full strength! The CNC Machine has only been used to precision drill the Kingpin Holes to ensure the connection between the Hanger & Baseplate are exact. Able to fit onto any TRAMPA board with Spring Trucks, BEAST BOXES made from 2mm thick 3k Twill Carbon Fiber. Precision CNC machined & internally grooved to give perfectly fitted joins, the Beast Box is pretty much water proof. Heat shrinking your joins & adding a touch of silicon at the end of the assembly will for sure seal the box to be tight from water!
The beast box comes with a top mounted LCD Battery Indicator, so guessing range is no longer an issue!
Assembling the box has been described as “fiddly but fun”. It’s a tight fit when using the biggest batteries for each box, so keep that in mind while assembling. The less room the batteries have to bounce around inside the box the better - especially over rough terrain!
Stainless steel Countersunk bolts harmoniously connect into both the base & the lid of the box, screwing neatly & tightly into HEX spacers... as the lid is tightened down, you get a satisfying click of confidence that everything has dropped into place perfectly as the panels slips into the groove and the gaps are no longer visible!

The VESC® 6 PLUS is the successor of the world famous VESC 6. When we developed the VESC 75/300, we knew that most of its features would be handy to have in a VESC 6 format. In consequence Benjamin Vedder took the challenge and re-designed the entire PCB of the VESC 6 to make the new powerful features available in a smaller and cheaper 60V rated package. The SIX PLUS features THREE PHASE SHUNTS & adjustable CURRENT + VOLTAGE FILTERS allowing any motor attached to be detected more precisely and reliably than ever before. In consequence all kinds of motors now run smooth as silk on a shoeshine and react PERFECTLY LINEAR to throttle input commands. In addition to these massive improvements you will find a IMU chip fitted , featuring a gyroscope, accelerometers and a compass, allowing the VESC to know its 3D orientation in space, 3 axis acceleration values and directions. UAVCAN has been added to the VESC 6 PLUS firmware allowing to interact with commonly used flight controllers like the PIXHAWK ®* devices. Incredible 12,000 lines of code have been added for the new hardware releases.
To make the VESC nearly indestructible, the low voltage rails were redesigned A-Z. Last but not least, the VESC 6 Plus & VESC 75/300 made Mr. Vedder putting tons of effort into a new VESC-Tool software and firmware.
VESC-Tool is now available as a mobile Android™* compatible App, allowing to configure your VESC or VESC array with a few clicks only. Using a original VESC 6 PLUS, motor detection is now more precise than ever before and pretty much a guarantee, even for very beastly motors that were troublesome to detect in the past. Extreme low inductance (0.5 μH) motors are no issue! Parameters for gearing and wheel diameter have been added, allowing display of speed, Wh usage per distance traveled, precise computation of estimated range, precise battery indicator, current consumption, duty cycle and power. This complete Cable kit is used to link 2x 6s Batteries together. The batteries must be fitted with female XT90 connectors to connect to this cable kit. The cables pass trough a 50Amp safety fuse & connect into a single TRAMPA VESC to further power a single TRAMPA motor giving you the amazing 12s power that everybody is talking about! This cable kit shoul dbe used when using the rear mounted TRAMPA BEAST BOX... :-)
The finely stranded (1036 strands per 4mm core) & highest standard available copper cables (made in Germany) flex perfectly in their top quality & super flexible silicone coating to enable you to connect everything together neatly within the contents of the carbon fibre Beast Box, remember the VESC is mounted internally in the Beast Box and I can tell you it can be a bit of a squeeze fitting everything into the Beast, but having superflexible high quality cables to work with means everything can be easily moved around inside the box slipping them into the perfect position without the fear of damaging the cables or the hand soldered in the UK connections to the XT90 plugs...
The XT90 plugs have a little ridge on their exterior whilst the material they are made from is very strong and very cleverly we have made the Beast box lid with 2 precision made holes perfect for accepting for the XT90's to push through the lid from the inside of the box & rest against the rim of the hole in the lid, allowing everything else in the box to seal away enabling you to be able to, with the use of some squeeze silicone in a tube to become pretty much weather proof...
By the use of some suitably small 2mm holes next to the precision holes for the XT90 connectors it's possible in combination to neatly zip tie between the XT90's to lock them firmly in position giving them a strong enough connection so that so that you can easily push & pull the loopkey / cuicuit breaker at any time from the exterior with out the fear of damaging anything inside or out...!
The BEAST BOX is also fitted with more precision holes to allow tying the exterior VESC cables which come out of the rear of the Beast box to reach the motor whilst holding all the cables neatly in their best position.
Constructed using 4mm thick of the highest standard Copper available (that's lots of Super fine copper Strands - 1036 strands per 4mm core) and coated in Super Flexible Premium Silicone which has been TRAMPA Stamped to prove it's geniality & expected quality (Cus these top quality cables are not cheap) are used to maximise & maintain full performance in your Electric TRAMPA Board at all times!
TRAMPA's STREET CARVER DRIVE TRAIN (SCDT) brings a complete new sensation to riding. Arguably the Mini Spring Trucks are a too wide for Old-Skool conventional Longboarders who still wish to push, we have herd them complaining about the wheel is in the way when they push and the steering is too loose for them, you have to remember the Street Carver was originally designed for steep down hill street runs where 'switch back carving' is required not pushing... BUT assemble it with either a Single or dare i suggest the insane Twin motor setup & Hey! you don't need to push any more!
& WOW! - Fitting a motor to your TRAMPA Street carve deck completely & utterly transforms any previous riding experience you may have ever experienced before! The resulting E-Street Carver Decks are like nothing thats ever been made before. We know they are expensive but it is genuinly utterly amazing & a totally revolutionary sensation which should not ever be compared to a traditional Longboard...
The STREET & URBAN CARVE DECKS are very much the same... the only difference between the complete decks are the wheels & Slave Pulleys used & to make the change between the two decks in particular the Hanger is assembled in a different direction relevant to the size of the wheel... The Axle in the Hanger is 'off set' so turning it around forwards or backwards changes the wheel base accordingly. Hanger facing inwards gives shorter deck & is for Street Carving requiring smaller longboard style wheels, Whilst hanger facing forwards give Longer Wheelbase for URBAN Carving as the extra size for space accommodates the larger wheels...
The Maytech Remote controller is comfortable to hold & works well as a thumb operated remote control when riding a TRAMPA Electric board. Opposed to the more-common trigger controllers, where you use your forefinger to operate a trigger on the underside of the controller, the Maytech controller uses your thumb on the top - meaning you push forwards to fly forwards! It may take some getting used to, but we’ve found the small, tactful & simple design of these remotes are perfect for controlling your speed & keeping you cruising along comfortably.
The Maytech remote control comes with its own rechargeable lithium batteries (already installed and sealed in the device) & a Micro USB cable for charging. Full charging takes approximately 2 hours but one charge is enough for at least 8 hours (Maytech claims 10 hours but we’ve never tested their claim). You should never run out of power in one run, however just to be safe you should always charge the controller when you charge your board - you never want a dead controller halfway through a ride, that's a school boy error!
The Controller is already paired to the receiver, which means all you have to do is push it into the VESC & within a moment (so long as everything has power in it) you should have a automatic connection - Easy!
The HobbyKing® ™ GT2B is a tad more substantial in size, but comes with a few more features, as well as some customisable options. Featuring a 3 channel operation, interchangeable hand grips, adjustable steering dual-rate, servo reversing and a rechargeable li-ion battery. The li-ion battery makes this transmitter much lighter, which gives the user a great feel during use - no more lugging around a heavy transmitter holding (expensive!) AA batteries!
The Quanum pistol grip transmitter & receiver system is an entry level system offering the reliability of 2.4Ghz signal technology and will control the speed of your Electric TRAMPA Board. The transmitter is powered by 4 x AAA type batteries & is extremely compact & lightweight. The transmitter has some unique features, such as the magazine style battery tray, which pops out at the push of a button allowing you to change your batteries quick & easy. The Trigger Throttle control is comfortable in your hand and easy to control whilst riding your board. The Quanum Tx & Rx package is simple to use and is suitable for all TRAMPA setups.
This GRAUPNER ULTRAMAT Charger is capable of Charging & Balancing all cells up to 12s in power. The Ultramat 18 charger is used by the TRAMPA team for charging all of our decks that use Zippy Cells for power. The charger comes with a UK or EURO Plug for wall plug in connection, XT90 Jack leads & 2x 7 pin adaptor plates which allow balancer cable connections from 2x batteries from 1s to 6s using JST Connectors.... As the Graupner is our suggested charger for the Zippy cells this charger is somehow incorporated into the design of our Battery Boxes so using this charger is nice easy to connect, it is reasonably fast to charge whilst it balances (looking after) your cells at the same time and you dont need to remove anything in order to charge as the cells are all snugly secured away in one of the amazing Carbon fiber boxes, which as it so happens have been designed special for this style of charger & easy charging... :-)
12s power is the perfect amount of power to be pushed through any of the TRAMPA Electronic products (12s should only be applied when using the very special TRAMPA VESC6 speed controller). When 12s power is pumped into the VESC6 you will be able to experience the kind of riding performance everybody is talking about. Do not push more power than 12s into the VESC6. Using a XT90 Battery harness cable kit to connect 2x 6s batteries together will double the battery power resulting with a 12s Battery WITHOUT Any soldering or Welding!!
So as you now know, to achieve 12s power requires a minimum of 2x 6s Batteries (it could be more cells if you were custom making your battery or if you were achieving 12s from 6x 2s, 4x 3s or 3x 4s cells as they can all be harnessed together to make 12s power... but then you will most likely need an additional balancer cable harness or more chargers to charge/balance each cell individually if you want speedy charging), so for efficiency & simplicity we base our 12s power on the use of 2x 6s cells as generally speaking there are many good priced nice performing chargers put there which also have the ability to balance your cells to prevent failiure of the cell, already on the market are capable of charging up to 2x 6 cells at any 1 time,
which maximizes efficiency which in turn means less chargers & (of course if you are making a custom battery you will need a BMS complicated system & Soldering skills) so you either need 2x 6s Battery chargers or 1x charger that is powerful or large enough to charge 2x 6s batteries at the same time to reduce charging times & this GRAUPNER ULTRAMMAT 18 charger is the charger TRAMPA is currently recommending of using capable of charging 2x 6s cells at any 1 time, so if you are running 12s made up from 2x 6s batteries, using this graupner charger you can charge both 6s cells at the same time.... :-)
As well as suggesting our customers find the best performance through using custom cells to make custom battery packs & BMS (Battery management systems), this all gets a little complicated for the majority of our customers, so for ease of supply & speed of installation as plugging in the 6s Cells means no welding or anything messy like that, as well as achieving excellent performance & fabulous range, TRAMPA is strongly encouraging the use of the ZIPPY Compact 6200mAh 6s 40c Lipo Pack with XT90 connectors in on any of the Boards in TRAMPAs range that use either the 12s BEAST BOX or 12s2p MONSTER BOX, as these high power 6s Cells not ony fit perfectly into these custom made Carbon Fiber boxes, but the lids & sides of the Boxes have been CNC'd allowing the wiring loom to flow beautifully inside, further enabling the battery balancer cables to poke out of the rear or sides of the box, whislt most importantly allowing the Charging XT90 connectors to push tightly into & fit perfectly into the precision cut holes in the lid, which are secured int position by the use of s simple ZIPTIE, allowing for simple but very strong KEY connection for turning your board on or off & allowing a really easy plug n play to charge both 6s cells at 1 time when using this Grauper charger
sit perfectly, further allowing Lug holes for the XT90 Connectors to fit into & be secured by a simple ziptie
you should set your charger to LiPo Manual, 6A and max possible mAh setting. Actually the limit of the charger is 20,000mAh I think. That only means the charger will stop charging when it pumped in 20,000 mAh. Worst case, you need to give the charger a second go to finish the job. It simply counts how many mAh it pumped in and stops at your pre-defined value.
When you press the two middle buttons simultaneously, while you charge,you can enter a mode that allows you to see each individual cell.
+- buttons let's you flick through the cells.
Each cell is full when it's at 4.21V.
A test with wheels in the air gives zero information about the performance, since the Vesc is current controlled. This control mode only works when there is a load.
Your Remote has two modes, fast and slow.
When you switch it on, ist in slow mode.
Press the on button again and it will blink fast.
Now you are in fast mode.

I guess the closest description i can give is to say something along the lines of 'It feels like the thrill of a motor cross bike, whilst being stood on a surfboard, but on the best run you have ever riden, travelling endlessly or until your feet are burning for a break, its amazing!'
The entire TRAMPA CARVE range (STREET, URBAN 7 GUMMIES) is fully interactive with itself & with the right Pulleys & belt combinations (you need different sized Pulleys to fit the different sized wheels to give you the best correct gearing performance & you will need a different sized belt to fit the different size of pulley correctly) but you can setup the Carve Deck in any of the 3 combinations by simply swapping the wheels & belts really easily. Regardless of the setup the TRAMPA CARVEBOARD instantly looks & performs completely different (better) to everything else before it....
If you have some super smooth surfaces to ride (like i do, the new tram path is like F1 Tarmac & goes for well over 5 miles past my house) then the TRAMPA ELECTRIC STREET CARVER is definitely the model to take, it is so good it will literally transform your life! The deck can be setup to be super loose for intense Ninga carving or set mega tight for Insane Top Speed... All TRAMPA Boards are now fitted as standard with the amazing VESC 6 Speed Controller which is connected with TRAMPA's very own & Highly Flexible Silicone Coated Cables. The Single Motor Carve deck uses the rear mounted Carbon Fiber 12s Beast Box which is capable of housing 1x 12s or 2x 6s batteries (NOT SUPPLIED) to give un-believable power & performance through just 1 wheel making well over 50kmph of Top Speed achievable & too top it off a potential range of well over 15 Kilometers or more can easily be achieved from a single charge of 1x 12s battery.
There is much debate over whether using a single Motor & Rear mounted Battery Box on your Street Carver compared to a Twin Motor Underboard Battery Box as to what is best...? For sure adding Twin Motors to any TRAMPA Board gives un-imaginable performance. Twin motor setups are powerful machines, they will double your Grip, Increase your acceleration, Take you up steeper hills easier and faster & will run flat out for longer periods of duration, but then of course adding Twin motors on this kind of deck (No Bindings) means then you are forced to take the heavier SOLID Deck & to position the batteries under the board, which i also agree with, putting the batteries underneath the deck makes the Deck look very sleek n Sexy & i get it when people ask what is that on the back of the Single Motor Beast Box deck, (refering to the battery box on the back), however Adding twin motors firstly adds a huge additional cost to your purchase whilst at the same time almost doubles the weight of the board as you will need more batteries which are heavy & 1 more speed controller (not cheap or light) & then the wiring can be challenging with not a lot of room for maneuver and of course it is debatable of some riders are skilled enough to warrant riding Twin Motor all the time... Its like going from Porsche 911 to Porsche 918 Spyder, the difference is very noticable....
However, on first concept the TRAMPA Carve Deck is supposed to be a small sized City bound Urban Styled deck with flex, not Flexi, but it is designed to at least have some good flex about it to make as its not designed as an all out racer, & well by adding the batteries underneath the deck in a tray, of course this tightens the flex considerably & then seeing as im not an electrician & i do not own the skills to make my own custom 18650 battery or repair on when it went wrong, i wonder about the obvious issues of the deck being so flexi whilst having so many expensive batteries in there and from my own experience, (i ride a too & from work daily), eventually you get caught out by the weather & your forced to wait it out in the pub for the rain to die down, but eventually you have to head home but its still wet & everything is getting soaked... it happens... & that's when my mind tends to worry about the cells being located under the flexi deck...
In the first place the Carve range of products are designed to be smaller & much lighter weight versions of the original TRAMPA Mountainboards. The Carver Decks were to be designed smaller & ligter to be far more use friendly in the new environment they are designed to live in, in my experience riding mostly on cycle paths your often at Traffic lights with roads to cross... My Single Motor Ultimate Urban Carver is so easy to jump of & pick up at the lights, it weighs just over 9kg is really light well balanced n dead easy to pick up by simply slipping my middle fingers through the HOLYPRO holes in the top of the deck, im able to jossle my way to the front of any ques and im usually ahead of any cyclists trying to puff theor way to work & as i like to carve loads on my route to work i love my deck to be super flexi, im 75kg using 14ply Holypro & having nothing underneath the deck it means i can literally jump up and down on the deck like its name suggests, like a TRAMPALINE!!
In my opinion The Mountain boards are for more suitably sized & work in an environment where they demand the extra Grip & performance to take Twin motors, however, genuinely speaking, as a City/Urban styled boarder using the single motor deck from the day it was first created, i am yet to find a street the single motor boards cant get up, for sure i have found some where they could take a different gearing and if i wasnt short of time id change the pulley to be smaller to make it easier up the steepest of hills but then i would sacrifice my top end speed a little bit for everything else thati rde, so maybe if i lived in a very hilly place (say San Francisco) then maybe i would be more inclinded to look towards making myself a very special TWIN Motor setup for sure, but even then if i decided to take the twin motor setup i think id still consider the larger mountainboard style board with battery on the top so i still have lots of the flex i like to ride....
On the same subject, Nottingham is a very hilly place claiming the 2nd steepest Street in England & we (the TRAMPA Crew) seriously do a lot of riding... We live close to the office & ride into & out of work everyday the weather is good enough too, perhaps with a detour & few pints on the way home, we have gone everywhere we can & so far we have not found a hill/road/street that these 12s Street Carve Beasts cant get up, in fact its not a case of just getting up the hill,once you have a Twin Motor setup its no longer a case of getting up its a case of literally ripping back up the hill, being able to stay on the board when heading up a steep hill on a board with such power becomes a mind blowing 'Hill-arious' challenge un-imaginable until tried!! lol :-)
TRAMPA's Electric Boards are sold to you as an advanced DIY project & the final assembly will need completing by you. At an additional cost TRAMPA is now able to supply a selection of suitable chargers relevant to the batteries we suggest you take from Hobbyking, but mostly due to shipping restrictions we are not currently capable of selling you the Batteries, this is mostly due to international security measures not allowing the items to fly, the criteria is quite challenging & TRAMPA is too small, were just not setup for that just yet, however the exact equipment i & all the team use is available from local stores to you, & if it is not available locally you can get batteries from companies who for fill the shipping requirements very easily compared to us. All the Components & Motor Mounts are assembled by Hand at the TRAMPA HQ & no drilling or modifications by you should be needed to be mahe the final assembly, but the Components will need fixing together when you receive them. Sending the Deck in component form saves incredibly on the shipping costs & gives you the best chance to learn your board, which in turn will give you the insight for maintenance, which should be completed on a regular basis & to be able to fix it should anything go wrong when out on a ride!
